Night Market - Known Issues

Hello everyone! Below is a list of the most common known issues for the new Night Market event zone, along with their current status and workarounds, if applicable. Please note this list does not include feedback (such as difficulty or rewards) but we have been reading your feedback and will address that in a separate post in the future.


Issue: The Quest starter for Night Market is not appearing in Crown Store

• Status: Fixed as of April 29 @ 1pm ET

Issue: When your character dies and resurrects, lingering effects will sometimes result in you dying while in ghost form. This prevents you from resurrecting again.

• Status: While this bug is somewhat rare, we are exploring the possibility of a hotfix
• Workaround: If you encounter this issue, exiting out to the character select screen or restarting your game should resolve it until we can get a fix published.

Issue: After taking the initial quest from the Crown Store, you cannot speak to the Curator or progress the quest

• Status: Bugged internally and investigating a fix for Update 50 launch
• Workaround: Until this gets fixed, please abandon the quest once in the Night Market and acquire it directly from the Curator.

Issue: The traps needed to counteract the shades can occasionally fail to appear.

• Status: Bugged internally and will be fixed in a future update
• Workaround: Leave the fight space and re-enter.

Issue: In some rare cases, you may see a monster that appears to be alive with 1 or 0 HP when you enter an area, but it cannot be killed or looted.

• Status: Bugged internally and will be fixed in a future update
• Workaround: If you run into a boss with 1 or 0 HP, please relog and it should be fixed upon logging back in.

Issue: You are unable to travel to the Night’s Den house from Starlit Plaza.

• Status: Bugged internally and will be fixed in a future update

Issue: A Wayshrine asset in Starlit Plaza displays an interact prompt, but you cannot interact with it

• Status: This is not intended to be a functioning wayshrine and we will be removing the interact prompt in a future update

Issue: When using a Transmute Station while in Gamepad UI, you are unable to perform any actions with Night Market-related items

• Status: We are exploring a potential hotfix for this issue

Issue: Abilities are sometimes desyncing while in combat in Night Market

• Status: Investigating

Issue: The Web Eater Trophy and Bust are not working as intended

• Status: Currently, the Web Eater Trophy and Bust are not correctly dropping when completing the achievements. We are currently investigating.
