Declined for Gifting

I have been playing this game for 8 months now, accued well over 1k hours of gameplay, are constantly involved in my guilds and communties (including talking offline a lot), and have spent hundreads and hundreads of my money on crowns, as well as being an ESO+ subscriber since I started...

APPARENTLY, this isn't enough to qualify for gifting. I requested it and was told I didnt meet the criteria and they wouldnt say why. Only thing I could think of was I took a break because my mum died, but I've been back at it recently quite a bit... Not sure how else I could possibly even do more to qualify for gifting. My friend who has played a LOT less than me applied at the same time and was accepted, despite the fact he had been offline for 2 months.

I'm just so confused as to why I was declined. My friends birthday is coming up and I wanted to buy him some stuff but nope, ZOS said no. My guild has told me to post here and tag ZOS Kevin so here I am.

There are certain criteria that have to be met if you want gifting enabled. They are not disclosed explicitly in any official ZOS page, but there is a community consensus about what needs to be done. Just ask Google AI about that and it will explain everything to you.

social credit system like zos uses are awful as far as i am concerned. i have no gifting and i wont ask. even if i qualify, id rather not have it and spend my money elsewhere. just say no to begging to spend your money on a video game.
