Missing Gold from Bank

Whenever I deposit gold into my account bank, I always deposit in increments of 1,000 gold. (So, if my character has 4,356g on them, I deposit 3,000g into the bank). As such, my bank always ends with X,000.
On multiple occasions (about four or five times in the last couple of months), I've logged on and eventually went to my bank and noticed that my bank was missing exactly 500g. (So, instead of my bank having 2,000g as I left it, for example, I would find that I had 1,500g).
It's so odd that it's exactly 500g each time, and I have no idea what could be causing it. I'm not exiting the bank window immediately after depositing, I'm not donating to my guild banks by accident, and I'm not depositing 500g.
I've submitted bug reports in-game about the issue, but thought to put it here on the forums, as well, for visibility. I couldn't find anything similar while searching the internet.
