Sharing Daily Quests For Tamriel Tomes Completion

TiberiusZolcor
Recently I've been asking for World Boss, and daily Delve shares in maps such as Wrothgar, and the Gold Coast to get motifs, and my weekly 1,000 kill count for my Tamriel Tomes rewards. A few times I've been successful, but for the most part I'm largely ignored because the map population is either AFK, too busy to care, ignoring me on purpose, or trolling me to incite anger. My reasoning is that it's not difficult to simply just invite someone to a group, and simply give 2 random dailies, and then leave without saying a word. Problem solved right? Both players can go after that exchange without any verbal exchanges, and resume their business. Do you agree?

The "Kill 1000 Foes" challenge is a seasonal challenge not a weekly. You have until the beginning of July to finish it, so don't stress and just do your dailies and you'll get there in plenty of time.

    Edit: length of season

I think you're reading too much into it.

Of the map population, maybe only 60% speak the same language and understand the request in the first place.

    Of the remaining:
Most aren't running daily's. Its not exactly an efficient way to kill 1000 enemies.
Of those that are, quite a lot will already be in groups, if they don't have crown they can't inv you.
For the few that do have crown they are too busy running the group. Inviting a random can create difficulties, they don't know whether a random will leave or not. If the random stays and starts e.g. picking up quest objectives before group is nearby you could be creating problems for the whole rest of the group.

I really doubt anyone is intentionally ignoring you or trying to troll you (unless you've built up a reputation on your server - unlikely).

I'm not on PC, but I can tell you I have a hard time GIFTING stuff through zone chat - I give away my excesses, being them motives or else, but it seems the vast majority of players either have chat totally disabled or ignore it.

You misunderstand. I'm not necessarily talking about the WB group leaders alone. I am also talking about lone players who could have certain WB quests for certain maps such as Wrothgar, and more that are required for the current Tamriel Tomes that are capable of sharing their quest with me if I asked politely for it. They could simply share the quest then disband the group, and leave once the share is completed.

I was also unaware the challenge was seasonal as opposed to weekly. I apologize for my naivety. However I still feel that those who have their chat on, and can see it should at least consider sharing their WB quests with others if players ask nicely in zones such as Wrothgar, Gold Coast, and Hew's Bane so that the players who get the shared quests can knock out 2 birds with one stone.

In addition to what other posters said above, not all people working on that challenge are doing the daily quests. A lot of the players that descended on the zones are those who completed the zones a long time ago. So, there is really no reason to redo the dailies.

    A couple thoughts:

    1. I imagine that currently, a lot of players running WBs in those three zones are not doing the quest (very possibly already having done it that day).

    2. I keep the zone portion of zone chat disabled because I find it full of distracting drivel that detracts from my game. I do keep /say up and if someone near the boss does a /say request and I have the quest, I happily share it when time allows.

There are enough coffers to go around without doing those dailies. If I were to go for the dailies, I would do them in the area where I still need something from those daily coffers.

If I'm going to be in the zone to farm kills anyway, I'm grabbing the dailies while I'm there. Zero downside and all upside. Couldn't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to.

I actually had this debate in zone chat this weekend in solstice. Sharing daily quests is pretty standard for ESO going back pretty far. This person said they refuse to share because once no one shared with them. Maybe you're getting people like that. Ask in chat. People will share the quest. If they don't though, they're not doing it to troll you, that's main character syndrome. People might not even be on the quest. My wife and I had kill the knight commander pontius or whatever in gold coast. After picking up and sharing the daily, we had to kill him 4 more times. Along with multiple instances of tons of other players. So many might not have the quest anymore. Keep trying.
