Today 4/7/26 i re-rolled one of the weekly challenges, and it gave me a duplicate of one that was already present: collect 15 ore.

Both challenges progress together, and i want to be sure that this is an intended possibility, or could be used as a potential exploit to more quickly gain tome points with one action/activity.

In game ticket as well 260407-001979

Was the one that was already there from last week or was it new this week? Because if it's the first one, that's probably intended. I was expecting it when they said weekly tasks would stack. It does allow earning tome points quicker, but it's less exploit more catch-up system. Also, there's a cap on the number of weeks you can save up, as well as your rerolls and RNG, so it does have its limits.

I rerolled and got offered a worse task. Rerolled again and got the original task again. Rerolled a third time and finally got a decent task. This exact scenario happened with another task I rerolled.

Yes, they often duplicate, and likely an "intended" chance mechanic to tempt you to pay for convenience. It's quite literally the same system as before (endeavors) with a reskin/rebrand to chase away bad sentiments and grab attention with the "New and Improved!" moniker. (Oh, forgot to add the new implementation gives us the exciting new bugs to experience too. They really do spoil us, you know. /s)

Maythor: honestly we're getting the supermarket treatment here ... shrinkflation with the addition of simply moving things about so they seem fresher .. all the while being told a corporation is our friend :P

If it comes with strings, it ain't free. It isn't a gift with purchase; you were overcharged.

I_CraftwithPntButter: 2023 is the year your supposed to be doing better , remember ? (Still waiting)

KlauthWarthog: Well, they can definitely measure fun on their spreadsheets, otherwise they would not be able to nerf it so consistently.
