During the (Veteran) Ossein Cage Overfiend Kazpian fight our (experienced) raid group was met with what I would class as trial-breaking bugs that needed sheer luck to overcome.

In addition to, what appears to be a worsening problem across the whole of ESO, the player positive they are not stood in an AoE and the game vehemently disagreeing, there were two bugs I have never seen before.

Sword Mechanic:
  1. Two players would get the tether and there would be no sword appear to cut it
  2. The sword would appear and nobody would have the tether to break the sword
  3. The sword would appear, two players would get the tether, they would break the tether on the sword, the sword would go, the tether would go and then a few seconds later the tether (that we dubbed the ghost tether) would re-appear and kill both players

Tank Health:
There is a bug that sometimes occurs with health bars. From the players point of view they will be at, for example, 60% health but everyone in the group will see them at a 100% health (being their actual health). This bug clears on player death.
This did not happen to the tank - me. Instead:
  1. What happened was my health would drop to 50% health, everyone in the group would also see my health at 50%. It would then jump up to say 80%, then back down to 60% - again everyone in the group saw what I saw (numbers are examples)
  2. Death did not clear this bug
  3. Reloading the UI did not clear this bug
  4. In addition, the rattled mechanic healing debuff which is ~39k was showing on my addon UI as ~78k. Now I'm willing to accept this could be an addon issue BUT the experienced healer I was with confirmed that I required a massive amount more healing to clear the debuff than normal

Unluckily for us the ghost tether kept happening just as the portal phase started, and kept killing at least one of our healers. In addition to that the tank (me) had no earthly clue what my health actually was, forcing the healers to over-focus on me, as well as me spamming my various survival skills that I usually only do when I actually need to which ruined my sustain.

After several failed attempts, we decided to abandon the run because we came to the conclusion that despite our skill and knowledge of the trial it was simply not enough without the massive amount of luck required to deal with those three bugged mechs.
