Clean food for Floofer! [SPOILER (Solstice) incoming!]

At the Sunport Docks we can feed Floofer. But why do our char throw the food in the dirt, even there is a food bowl / plate on scene?

To be fair, I've watched real-world dogs take a mouthful of food out of their nice clean dish, walk away into another room, drop it on the floor, and gobble it up. Or scarf down any treat dropped to them, either catching it in midair or picking it right off the floor. (The sole exception to this was my mother-in-law's West Highland terrier, who was quite a well-trained little lady and would absolutely NOT eat anything whatsoever that you didn't put into her own bowl, no matter how tempting it might be.)

You are absolutely right, especially dogs (although Floofer is a wolf) have a - how to say it in english, notably? peculiar? meaning about what's a proper handling of their food. But that is their thing, shall Floofer rub the meat in the dirt, if he/she wants.
It's just - i'm feeling like some kind of movie honk (always a scene with a bad guy come to my mind, don't remember actors name atm), when my char chuck it on the ground.

And yes, i know there are more major problems in the game than this.
(For example the accessibility of all entries in eidetic memory for my main. I know, i know. )
