I did the west first, it sent me to the east, then back to the west and no note for me to read on the wagon.

I abandoned it and tried again, this time starting with the east. It sent me to the west, as expected. Then Skordo sent me back to the east - once again, no letter for me to read on the table.

I've tried reloadui, I tried zoning, I tried logging out and back in. I even tried reading the letters from my inventory at the location. No luck.

So what are we meant to do with this, just avoid doing the quests? There has been no information about if/when this might be fixed so we are in limbo until then? I suppose we are used to this!

I did the same and fell into the same trap.

I have exactly the same problem (with all my characters). After abandoning the Eastern Solctice main quest once because of the quest loop back issue w/ I can't pick up the quest again - there is no more main quest giver (Scordo).
