Should we be allowed to use outfit headpieces with costumes?

Costumes for the most part have terrible headpieces and since there's already an option to hide them. I think it would be great way to get better fashion by allowing us to have an another option to hide costume headgear, which would then apply the style of that your outfit is currently wearing.
