Disclaimers:
First, let me say that I KNOW this would be the case for a support ticket, but I cannot do it because when I check the option to get a response via e-mail THERE'S NO TEXT FIELD VISIBLE and, therefore, I can't submit one.
Second, as I was typing this message,
I managed to fix the problem with a Game Repair, however, I believe you, developers, must deem to take notice not only about the issue I experienced, but also the side-problem mentioned in the item above. That's the sole reason I'll proceed with the topic.
So, before, yesterday's maintenance, everything was working fine, well, for ESO nowadays's standards, anyway. After yesterday's patch, EVERYTHING related to my game client (I believe) has been reset. Every setting I made through game UI, every tweak I carefully made in
UserSettings.txt, the acceptance to all EULAs and ToS, and, most important to me, all my add-ons, gone.
As you can see in the screenshot below, all add-ons folders (and their files) are where they should be —
C:\Users\<MY_USERNAME>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns. Even the 3rd-party app Minion used for add-on manager does find all of them as well.
However, when I press Esc and got to the Add-ons entry within the game, nothing can be found. Then, while preparing screenshots for the ticket I didn't manage to finish, I took one of the game's add-on panel and I noticed the path where the screenshot would be saved shown at the top-right of the screen showed “tings.txt/Elder Scrolls Online/Screenshot”.
Since "tings.txt" isn't the usual name for a folder, I ran a file search IN MY WHOLE SYSTEM for it and nothing has been found — which is weird, after all "tings" is a substring of
UserSetings.txt, but that's beside the point.
And if screenshots weren't being saved in their proper locations, most likely add-ons path are wrong too, therefore they can't be found. But as far as I know, I can't configure them manually.
