Read books within player inventory?

Is there a way, through the vanilla game or add-ons, to read books that you pick up as furnishings, directly from the inventory? The way it stands now, you are only able to preview it as a furnishing, but I can't see an option to read the contents.

I know we can read from the Eidetic Memory, but it takes too long to try to figure out which category to look in.

Slippycheeze's read it once addon also puts your lore books in some order and you can search them aswell
