Error 307: Booted from Server

Anyone else getting this? I just got it about 5 minutes ago on PC/NA.

It is an error that happens when you try to log in too fast. If you get it, wait 5-10 mins and try logging back in again. The game hasn't kicked your character off the server and needs time to do so, and an alternative is to change servers (NA to EU or vice versa) and log in there which should kick your NA or EU toon off and let you log back in on your preferred server.

Often when players are disconnected while in a trial, of course they are motivated to try to get back on as soon as possible. Also often, the server doesn't recognize they are disconnected, resulting in this error and the approximately 5 minute timeout.

That means the 11 other players all have to wait 5 minutes. It's a pretty common thing.

It would be a HUGE QOL if this could be addressed so players are able to get back online ASAP.

Of course this is by design for a reason, but maybe your engineers can find another way to solve the problem it is intended to address because it's incredibly frustrating.

I understand players themselves can solve this in theory, but in practice it's basically impossible. Only a minority of players think to wait, no matter how many times it is explained.

If you get a DC the best thing you can do is count to 30 and then log in. If you try to log back in before the server realizes you got kicked then you get this 5 min timeout. It's been like this for years. 30 seconds of patience will save you in the long run - 4mins 30 seconds to be exact.

I keep getting error 307 after purchasing the game on Xbox. Its actually so frustrating il be playing and it just boots me off lol. Don’t have this issue on PS5 though.

As noted above, you'll get the 307 error if your connection is dropped and you try to log back in within an initial 30 second window. Immediately attempting to login again results in a longer time-out.

If you're getting dropped on XBox more often than PS5, I'd suggested checking how both are connected to your router/modem and see if one is getting hit with more latencylonger ping than the other. Generally, I;ve not had too many issues on XBox unless there's major network interruptions affecting multiple servers.

it happen to me mid trail yesterday, my internet was stable as discord and other connections were unaffected, but in the game middle of boss fight, unexpected error occur and logged out.
