How to delete addons when they don't show in your installed list (PS5)

i was wondering if someone can help!

I have two addons (that are broken, both create a ui error straight away) rectbars and buff alerts, that I would like to uninstall. I can see them in manage addons, however - if I go to browse addons and look at my list of installed addons to uninstall them I cannot as they do not show. i have tried searching for them and they do not come up to uninstall in the browse/installed addons section and we can't uninstall from manage addons

Thanks

Try to login here with a webbrowser:
    https://mods.bethesda.net/en/elderscrollsonline/all

Then unsubscribe to the addons you want to uninstall.
They should be uninstalled from your logged-in account then, as far as I understood ZOs (hope that's correct).

Do they still exist as console addons or maybe have been removed? I cnanot find any addons with the names you provided there e.g.
You should contact ZOs how to get that fixed then, if console addons get delisted but are still installed at consoles -> One cannot uninstall them then.

That is my problem, I can no longer see them to remove them in the library, I can only see them in the section that allows me to turn them on and off which I have to do as they throw errors

    Thanks for the suggestions though

    Got a response from ZOs
This is likely another side effect of the PS5 auto sync bug
Normally if you had an addon installed that was no longer on the website it would auto uninstall for you

Seems there currently is no fix yet, so you need to disable the addons for now.

I just uninstalled an addon that triggers the Autosave bug. And I had to choose the specific category it's listed under, as the All Categories list was full and the UI doesn't have a Pages element to cycle through.

In my case it was a Chat mod, so once I specified Chat mods there it was front and center with only a few other chat mods.

Yep search doesnt bring them up either or their categories!

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll keep on with just disabling them for now

I had BuffAlerts installed, and because it got removed from the Browse Add-On list, there is no option to uninstall them.

I had it Disabled, and could only fully get rid of it by performing a full delete and install of ESO (140+GB).

4 hours to download and install a game to uninstall a missing few KB add-on. Whew.

I don't get why you do that if you can simply disable the addon, and wait for the fix? :D

I did disable it. Because I was testing various things I was not sure if it might be contributing to Save Errors and I wanted to be certain it was not a factor.

I also wanted to know if uninstalling the game would remove any remnant add-ons or not. Till then I did not know and theres no answer anywhere. So we look for the answer ourselves.

We have no guarantee that this will be fixed and when (ie uninstalling add-ons that are no longer available in the Browse Add-On menus by text search or filter).

Usually disabling any addon should not load their code anymore, no matter if on PC or console.
Means: Any error message that happens usually is not related to disabled addons as their lua, XML and SavedVariables code is never read/loaded anymore.

Same for the SavedVariables errors: As long as the addons are disabled their SV won't be loaded and are nil ingame.
