    Would have preferred that it does not ignore cc immunity, but this is actually a smart way to nerf without nerfing.

    Yeah good change after so many forum threads why the set was broken. I am sure ball groups will find other uses though.The ball groups are still gonna be stack heals and ultis so they will be immortal.

    Seems like a good change to make it less successful against big groups while letting it stay usable for regular builds. I hope it still works well for my BG build.

    Dark Con was previously nerfed to 25 second cooldown and it gives CC immunity.

    Rush still has a super short cooldown and can be combo'd with Warden's Class script easier now for double stun from 1 ability cast (even more toxic against pugs than before)

    This is classic zos. Instead of fixing the underlying gameplay, add a new situational set.

    An individual player shouldn't be punished for stacking hots and shields -- aka intuitively playing the game. This isn't the same as a 12 player group that stacks the same hot 12 times. Just limit the same hot stacking! They don't even need to eliminate it. Maybe make it so the same hot can only stack on one player 2-3 times and additional casts just refresh the duration.

    Aside from ball groups, do you know who else stacks hots? All randoms in proximity of each other in a big fight. How can I control this aside from avoiding my teammates in large scale pvp? It makes no sense.

    The roa nerf is also classic zos. It doesn't fix the problem in pvp but hurts the set in pve. Just make it so it only affects npcs. The pvp playerbase will celebrate and pve players using the set will appreciate not having a set they like ruined.

    In the bigger picture, it just shows the solution is to tear everything down (in pvp) and start with a fresh canvas. And probably fresh ideas too.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Honestly if we want to kill the ball groups make a set that says something like "Damaging 2 or more players within 10m of each other puts a stack on these players that increase your damage done to them by 2%, 1 stack falls off each second they are further than 10m apart"

    ROA should have been changed to affect monsters, not players. We already have dark convergence, which should also not exist in pvp, imo.

    This would be the best way. Like Macabre Vintage and everything will be fine. You can use it in PvE but not in PvP

    Ballg roups aren't going anywhere. They can remove this set, put a cap on heal stacks/shields and we will still find a way to min/max to be more powerful than the random pugs who stand on walls or siege.

    Good change IMO.

    Makes it easier for the random who isn't paying attention to know a pull is coming (if you're chasing a ball group you should know ones about to come anyways but..) but still makes it so ball groups can do their thing and play with their pay style.

    I'd be curious to see how this set performs on live. On paper it sounds like an interesting set. I still think the better solution is to put a cap (not like 1 or 2 but something realistic) on sheild stacking/heals but I know that will open as can of worms for out of group heals... PvE.. etc.

    I'm going to be trying this set out in Cyro for sure. It definitely seems like a bone being thrown to help us deal with annoying ball groups.

    I agree though that heal stacking is a big issue. Even being able to have 3 vigors on you at the same time is a lot of healing coming in just from that ability alone, let alone when you have 8, 9, 10 of them along side shields, other heals etc. Which honestly I think is what wrecks most sets that we read on paper as being a good combination of stuff. Its kind of hard to deal damage to something that is healing and shielding for more damage than you're even capable of putting out in a perfect scenario. Of course that goes hand in hand saying if you're putting out more damage than it is capable of being healed for then death is inevitable which is also just as bad as what we have now.

    I think that we sort of lived the other lifestyle during the height of the Azure meta, when the damage was so free and so high that it was being used by like 85% of Cyro and was devastating against groups and solos alike.

    Which is definitely NOT a time that anyone wants to return to.

    In that sense, it has been a positive change that subclassing has hyper-empowered solo bombers again. That is a style that requires genuine skill and now it has the power to destroy basically any group, whether that is an overbearing faction-stack or a ballgroup. Rewarding high-skill playstyles is the way rather than simply handing out free damage.

    It was about a <incomprehensible demonic screeching> time. Only took the better part of an eternity to get something done about it..

    The glacial pace at which ZOS works would give government bureaucracies a run for their money.

    And it still fails to give CC immunity. Still prime fodder for truly atrocious combos. Maybe that'll get sorted sometime around 2028.
