Will crossplay be the last chance to save this game for console players?

Crossplay is a good thing in general so we get more lively game. But this doesn't come without issues.

How will the servers endure all this when they struggle even now.

But if we live in a dream world and expect everything to work most of the time then I say:

Bring consoles and PC together and drop the support for older gen. consoles so we can finally up the furnishing limit

That being said I am 100% against it, that PC gamers should need to suffer because of console gamers. I did not build a fancy and costly gaming PC so that I can be on the same level as console people. Mark my words.

Let pc stay in their playground and cross play consoles. Give console players ability to swap EU server or US servers using same toons - extra load time and lag is on them.

Not sure what you mean about social norms…

I personally have played on both extensively and the only difference socially is the addition of proximity chat on console.

Economical issues were largely due to addons for a long time on pc. I imagine over time this will affect consoles too now that addons are present

PS EU seems very much alive to me. Dungeons? No problems. Raids? No problems. PvP? Ah well, I don't care actually and don't know. Easy to find people to enjoy the game with, for whatever content. And that is what does count for me.
