Necromancer Corpses & Pet Limit

My necromancer setup is virtually unusable due to Blighted Blastbones not spawning at all half the time because of the new pet limit, the presence of corpses should not prevent me from casting a core class identity skill. I even tried to play along and purge all the existing corpses with detonating siphon and corpsebuster before reapplying more, but detonating siphon would stop working in spite of a bunch of corpses stacked on the floor too. Something has to be done to fix Blighted Blastbones...
