Skills can be put on backbar with Oakensoul

Since update 46, I can suddenly put skills on my backbar with Oakensoul equiped. I don't know if the skills are actually doing something (if you were to use skills that give buffs on both bars). I don't want to risk being banned for using an exploit, so I am not going to test or use this.

I found a cat had snuck into my garage. but it keeps going to an area of the garage I can't reach without clearing out most of the garage. I put cat food, water, and a litter box in the garage (so it has what it needs since it won't leave and I can't get it to come to me). I don't want to risk being arrested for kidnapping someone's cat, so I am not going to ask any of my neighbors if they are missing a cat! 🙄

Can you swap bars with Oakensoul equipped - the mythic stops bar swapping, not skill slotting.

If you have "slotted on either bar" skil - what buffs does it give? If it's not different to Oakensoul buffs you are not exploiting anything.

It should de-activate any passive from a backbar slotted skill. Having a 5 second look to see if it does won't get you banned for exploiting - as you are not using it in content.

This isn’t new. You can “technically” slot abilities to a back bar with Oakensoul equipped but they aren’t effective.

You can’t bar swap and any ability that provides a passive buff simply for “being slotted” doesn’t apply.

It’s just that you can assign an ability to your inactive bar but it’s not going to do anything.

Yeah, not new... and please don't change. This allows me to have 2 one bar builds for IA. Take ring off, swap bars, put ring back on, change armor sets, ready to go past arc 4.

I agree with @Number_51 I run two one bar setups on my Oakensoulers as well. With practice, I can enter my inventory, drop Oakensoul, change bars and reequip Oakensoul in a few seconds (out of combat of course).

You gain no passive benefit from anything slotted on your other bar when Oakensoul is equipped.

Yeah, I always click on Pale Order around Arc 4 of IA. With a decent selection of Visions, you have offense/defense/utility buffs equal to or better than Oakensoul, and the passive healing of Pale Order is more valuable. And now I have two bars ready to go as soon as Oakensoul comes off and Pale Oder goes on.

You can just port out quickly to change build and port back in. I've done it lots of times.

We definitely need something to boost Oakensoul builds now that subclassing is inflating DPS so much.

I agree that Oakensoul users can take advantage of subclassing and whilst I am not calling for any Oakensoul buffs I DON'T consider myself lazy for using something that has increased my enjoyment because it has lowered my pain from my arthritic hands!!

Yeah, I've done that as well, but been burnt twice with a load screen crash (on console) where I didn't get back in on time.
