Transferring Game Files

squigglez2010
at home i have a very limited amount of internet, i have taken my laptop to a friends house and have downloaded ESO using his internet so that i can at least play, i am just wondering if there is a way to transfer the game files from my laptop to my desktop and have the game still work, ie, whether a simple copy and paste of the games files will corrupt the game or not

    It should work fine, it has on my son’s PC by transferring the files over our home network.

    But if you want to be really sure then do the following;
    Log in to your account on the computer you wish to install the game on
    Click the link to install the game, it will download the small install_ISO file
    Copy this file to the partition (drive) you want to install the game on or it might say you don't have enough room to install the game

    Run this to download and set up the launcher, it will also check you have the required DX files installed and set up the install folders and the desktop launch icon if you wish
    Run the launcher and make sure you select the correct Megaserver then proceed up to the point it starts the download
    Stop the launcher and copy the files across to the correct folder and all should be good

    The reason I suggest this way is the launcher can get it’s panties in a panic if say you download the NA version then try and log on to the EU server.
