Remove the 10 Minute Concession Penalty from Tribute

For the love of all that is good in this universe, ZOS please remove the 10 minute penalty for conceding a game of Tribute!
I thought maybe it would be fixed since a huge update just came out but apparently not... Really ZOS... Any experienced Tribute player can tell when a match is over. Don't make us sit through it when a match is already decided. Its a waste of everyone's time, especially if your opponent is dragging it out.
It is worth noting if this were YugiOh or Magic there could be penalties for NOT conceding a game. Why must we drudge through an unwinnable game if we get unlucky?
Wanna concede in ranked? Sure, whatever, dock points for a loss like usual, don't give match rewards. But OH MY GOD WHY IS THE PENALTY EVEN A THING IN CASUAL TOO!? Just let us get on with the next game already!

In case ZOS isn't aware, here is the dictionary definition of "concede" copied from Merriam Webster's website:

transitive verb
1
a(1)
: to acknowledge grudgingly or hesitantly
conceded that it might be a good idea
(2)
: to relinquish grudgingly or hesitantly
concede power
b
: to accept as true, valid, or accurate
The right of the state to tax is generally conceded.
2
: to grant as a right or privilege
Britain conceded the independence of the colonies.

intransitive verb
: to make concession : yield

In other words when I select the "concede" button I am admitting defeat, I am saying to my opponent "you win". In what universe does that warrant such a stupidly harsh punishment? I want to play the game, not sit and spin. In that 10 minutes I am stuck not being able to play, I could be getting my game on, and maybe even completed 2 more games of Tribute. Think about the time of your players a little bit better, ZOS. Or maybe go watch how real life trading card games look when played at the competitive level.

I love Tribute but this horrid penalty makes me not even want to play. I know I am not alone on this.

They could do other things rather than give us a 10 minute timeout. We could forfeit any rewards, for one. But keeping us from playing the game because we conceded is just asinine.

We are already forfeiting any rewards when conceding (as in we do not get a box when hitting concede button).

Yes, even if rapidly clicking the turn timer is supposed to be the proper way to end the game, the other player is still stuck doing animations that waste time. It is clear when the match is lost, and we should be able to concede at that point.

Yeah, it is really daft. I can see when a loss is coming and I want to just concede defeat and move on to the next match.

I fully support removing the 10-minute penalty timer.

Many members of my guild have stopped playing Tales of Tribute and one of the main reasons they mention is the presence of arbitrary time penalties like this one.

It’s frustrating when a match is clearly lost early on, and you’re forced to either wait it out or get punished for conceding. In casual mode especially, where rewards are minimal or nonexistent, this kind of penalty just drives people away. It doesn’t encourage meaningful play — it just wastes players’ time.

Timers like this might make sense in ranked or group PvE content, but for a casual card game mode, it feels completely unnecessary.

Removing the timer — or at the very least reducing or reworking it — would go a long way toward making Tribute more accessible and enjoyable. Right now, it’s more discouraging than anything else.

I would make a petition for this... but I think that kind of thing is frowned upon. This will likely ultimately just be ignored.
