Furnishing Vault Contents - View Remotely?

Is there any way to view the contents of your furnishing vault remotely, that is without going to a house where you have one installed? If this is not a native feature of the game, is there an addon that would provide that ability?

I haven't tried yet but as Inventory Insight can see the contents of storage chests, I am presuming it will have been updated to include the furnishing vault.

As I said though I haven't actually started my mass clean up of furniture yet, so it might not!! 🙂

I used Inventory Insight to check character by character to see which had furnishings that needed to be stored (most had many). I just checked the addon's website and found that adding the vault was planned whenever the author had time to get to it.

With many characters, the long loading times for traveling to and from houses and going through doors to dump the furnishings used up lots of game time.

If you have some room in your bank, one thing you could try is moving stuff from your alts into your bank, then have your main move it from your bank into your vault or other storage containers. It sounds like you may have already finished, but it might be a useful strategy in the future with moving other things.

And yes, reorganizing inventories, bank, and storage is taking a lot of time-- I haven't finished yet, because I'm doing it slowly in phases so I can stay more focused on playing the game-- but I think it's going to be time well-spent in the long run.

The basegame has no options to see if something is in your vault if you‘re not inside your house, just like with storage chests.

Inventory Insight hasn‘t been updated yet but the author started updating their smaller addons a few days ago.

I haven't found a way to see what is in it other than opening the Vault while inside a house.

I'm lucky in that respect, non of my alts carry furniture, it's either already in storage chests or in my many storage houses.

I have a banker and intend to place a vault in every storage house, hopefully my biggest issue will be deciding what exactly to put in the vault!

From what has been said above I'm hoping Inventory Insight is updated soon, relying on my memory these days is a bit problematic!

Ok so I've just started to load up my Vault on one account I'm sorry to slightly hijack this thread but I thought this piccie would make @SilverBride shudder due to the extent of my hoarding!!



Also curious if anyone else has more of these??

That is awesome!

It may be surprising to learn that I recently destroyed around 175 of these that I had been saving for I don't know why! I finally just stopped digging them up and now I let the lead expire when I find them!

A quick heads up to anyone who uses Magic Sorter addon....... I spent this evening filling up my Vault, I then decided to refill my storage house to clear up some odd items I had left......

If you leave the Vault in any of your storage houses and try to use Magic Sorter the Vault will EMPTY itself of any items that are selected back into the house they came from!! Luckily I spotted it was doing this really quickly!!

Removing the Vault from your storage houses stops this happening.
