Question about Arcanist and Sub Classing (Crux System)

Is the only difference between a base class arcanist and sub classing arcanist skill lines that with the base class you can get crux with scribed skills with the class mastery? Or are there other differences with regards to crux and skills? thanks.

✭✭✭✭✭But skills, crux generation with skills etc should all work the same? I doest sting a bit that you cant crux with scribing since it becomes more important with subclassing...1 -

Yes, so basically if you want to use the banner grimoire on an arcanist build, make sure it's the base class.0 -

✭✭✭And of course the fact that you can only use one arcanist skill line as a non-arcanist. It's often handy in content to have a heal that grants crux or Cruxweaver Armor.PC-NA
