Hi there,
I've recently started gaming on Linux, which in general works great.
But one thing I've noticed is that - although the keyboard layout is the same (in my case German) the default keybinds are different.
Just to be clear: I'm not talking about adjusted keybinds, which are saved server-side, I'm talking about the defaults.
And since on Linux, it is just running a windows install with some emulations (Proton) layers around it, I don't understand where the difference is coming from.
Like weapon swap, which used to be the `^` key (underneath the esc key) and is now `#` on Linux
Or Mail which used to be `#` and now is on `-`
And then the Champion Points screen which was on `+`and is now on ` (backtick) and doesn't even work bc of how this key works (it waits for the next input to become an accent or a proper backtick).
I also tested reseting to both keyboard and gamepad default bindings, with not change.
So I'm wondering: since this is not synced via server:
- Where is this saved ? (It's not anything in the documents/The Elder Scolls Online folder, because I copied everything over for testing purposes)
- How is this assigned / why is it different ?
- And is this actually intended? (I believe not, hence I posted under bug reports)
