The ESO Build Editor now supports subclassing.

The ESO Build Editor now supports subclassing. At the bottom, you can find the new menu point "Subclassing" where you can select your three skill lines. This allows you to select the new class skill lines in the "Skills" menu point.

We also added subclassing filters to ESO Builds Database, which allows you to find subclassing builds easily.
Filters:

Builds using subclassing
Builds not using subclassing
Advanced Filters > select specific skill lines

Are the ads anything like they are on ESO hub? Cause I can't use that site anymore because of the lag and pop up ads that actually cover the content I am trying to look at. It would be cool if someone could look into that?

Same problem even worse on mobile. Just use Wiki build editor.

I wish ZOS had a official ESO app with builder, get the Castles team to do it as a mini project.

Ads should not cover any actual content. However, users that have a weird screen size or resize the window after it loads could experience overlapping ads.

I’ve been using the UESP build editor forever but it doesn’t appear to have scribing or subclassing.

I’ll give this one a try but yeah I use it on mobile mostly so hopefully the ads don’t block out the sun.

I would use the editor but compared to the Uesp editor it just takes too long to setup everything basically every aspect is slower from picking items to equip, re-traiting, picking skills etc.
Also for the subclassing option it would be way better to pick subclass first before the skills option.

I use normal display size. 1920 x 1080. The ads on the left side of the screen always bleed over onto the left side of the content on ESO hub. I use google chrome. I have just switched to using UESP because I can't even look at sets on ESO hub or ESO sets anymore. Don't know how to fix but every other site seems fine.

That is not intended behavior. You are the second person reporting this issue.

We might actually have found the issue and fixed it. Can you check if you still get the issue with overlapping ads?

Could you post screenshots of that please. This issue is very hard to debug. Also, are you resizing the window after page load, or are does it load broken immediately?

I cleared the cache and the ads appear to be sticking to the sides now and not covering middle parts of the page. Hope it stays that way. Thanks for working on it.

8 hours later the ads are back to blocking content. Even after clearing cache.

Try again please, we made a lot of changes and hopefully managed to fix the issue. If its still buggy, can you show a screenshot please.

Okay I just cleared cache. I tried going to different tabs. Sometimes the ads stay in the side columns. Sometimes the stickout over into the content. Here is an example. It is always the two floating side ads that stick out over the content.

Sure if we can coordinate a time. Today the ads are not encroaching over the sides into the content. I clicked on multiple different pages and they are all staying to the sides.

Hey, that's awesome. I did indeed try a new method to prevent this situation. Definitely do let me know if it happens again! I'm optimistic it's now completely resolved.

I noticed a few issues while using your editor (which I do think is quite nice):

1. Sharing links to builds is... an adventure. Sometimes the generated links (via Share -> copy URL) work fine. Other times they lead to blank pages or 404s. Sometimes refreshing said pages will eventually get you to the page but other times it does not. I've tried to share build links with half a dozen people and it only works reliably for one of them.

2. I'm unable to delete builds from the My Builds page.

3. The Attribute buttons display incorrectly for me and thus aren't able to be utilized.

When those couple of things get ironed-out this will definitely be my go-to editor. But right now those couple of things make it difficult to rely upon. Thank you for your hard work!

Are there any plans to add a calculation and display of the character stats?

Things like Max Stats, the regens and Damage stats would be really helpful in judging wether a build is good or just junk.

Or is that too complicated?

We have it in our backlog, but not something we plan on doing soon. It takes a boatload of time to get that done, and we have plenty of other things that have higher priority.

If we could outsource it we could get it done sooner, but so far we have not found anyone capable of doing it.

Do you have examples of these unsharable builds? Because I cannot replicate this.
