When joining a trial via the group finder, check the group tab to ensure that the "dungeon mode" it displays matches the difficulty level of the queue you joined through.

✭✭My guild almost did a vAA by accident once, before GF was implemented. It's a pity I noticed the difficulty was incorrectly set, because some odd bug I never again saw happened and we actually had 13 in the group.

✭✭That's funny and congratulations on your clear!. Many years ago I joined a normal Rockgrove via zone chat in Craglorn to burn time and we got to the first trashpack and the trial lead realized he left it on vet after the majority of players died. There were a lot of bewildered players until the raid lead realized his mistake.0 -

I noticed his in vSE last night when I filled for a friends learning run. Half of the group saw veteran in their menu and half saw normal. We had to all phase out and reset it just to be sure.0 -

That was how the Storm Atronach boss went: "Whoa, what are those mechs? Never seen those before... oh. Oh no." After we wiped there and realized what sort of trouble we'd landed ourselves in, we took things much more carefully.0
