Magma shell is getting nerfed, making every reliable reef guardian strats just impossible. Is there any chance we can make the acid reflux mech work as intended then ?
For those who don't know :
Acid reflux is the cone spit attack used by the second (big) boss of vDSR. It hurts a lot, mainly because of the very strong aoe it gives you. So strong in fact that it can very easily do 40k/hit. Thankfully, we have something that can stop it : tank swapping... in theory. When you taunt the boss off your other tank, it stops the acid reflux but, 2 times out of 3, it will just ignore you. To clarify : no it is not an issue with taunt immunity. You have to taunt a same boss like 3 times in 15 secs to trigger that and it almost never happens. Plus, you can see taunt immunity with untaunted and I assure you, despite having filled my vDSR stickerbook while playing almost exclusively on my tank, I've seen the boss ignore my taunt without having taunt immunity many times (you can also know it because the boss actually aggroes you when he's done spitting). It is rather a problem with the boss himself : sometimes, he just ignores the mech.
For a while we just cheesed it with magma shell (using ult gen to have a good uptime on it), wich allows people to clear this boss with no deaths but now we rely on a janky, at best, mech. Why did magma shell need to be nerfed so bad when fatecarver is getting buffed ? That's a secret only the geniuses at zos know but at least, please make the acid reflux mech work so we can still get past this fight. Please fix this : between the tank swap on the first boss that can be very hard with the 5 aoes attack and taleria's behemoth attacking the OT at the same time as rapid reluge, we're already dealing with lots of ***..
