I am not sure if I should ask this as a "New Discussion"... but I have noticed minor visual changes to the game, adding objects for extra ambiance I suppose. I don't know when this additional "debris" or "rubble" was added to Stros M'Kai... but the location for "Treasure Map I" is covered by it!! I haven't done that treasure map in quite a while, so I don't know when the extra visuals were added, but since the idea is that the rubble broke away from the structure and fell where it now sits... it seems the "dirt mound" and subsequent "treasure chest" should just be moved a few feet away from the structure, so it isn't hidden by the added visuals. With the smaller maps, it's easier for me to remember where these Treasure Map locations are. Even though I remembered where the location was... I spent half an hour expanding my search of the area, thinking I forgot the location. I even used multiple web searches to verify the location. It wasn't until I got really close to where the dirt mound was supposed to be (I was literally seconds away from giving up... and destroying the treasure map)... that I saw (JUST the words) "Dirt Mound", when I was looking at the debris pile!
This is on the Xbox (I don't remember which server), but I might assume it occurs on all platforms??! Why or how someone would add visual content to the base game, and NOT be aware that they were covering up something that occurs in that location, is beyond me. This would be the same problem, if a programmer added an object to a pathing location for an NPC or a creature. Would it simply walk around the newly added content... or walk through it, as if it wasn't there??? This is why I joke with people... that the developers support the game with new content, but they don't actually "play" the game... which is why there are so many bugs: it's like they don't bother testing anything and expect the players to find the bugs!!
You should really have a reward system for people reporting bugs. The first person to report a problem (that is significant that needs fixing), gets rewarded with 50 Crowns (or something like that). A lot of the time, I feel like my reports get ignored... so why bother?! A lot of the bugs I encounter... I just avoid rather than get glitched or "stuck" (there are MANY places in the game, where you can step or fall into... that requires teleporting from, to get out of it)!!
If you feel this should be a discussion, feel free to move it... but you'll have to edit out part of my first sentence, and create a New Discussion topic... such as, "Stros M'Kai Treasure Map I bug".
