Trouble with TES 3: Morrowind

I bought TES 3: Morrowind Game of the Year edition and installed the base game and the Bloodmoon and Tribunal DLCs on my C:SSD. Then I began a new game, and got through the intro, and getting off the ship where you first see Jiub. Then I went through the character definition routine in Seyda Neen. About the time I gave the bosmer guy back his magic ring, I tried to save my game. I got an error message. It happened every time I tried to save my game. Is there a fix for this problem, or do I have to uninstall Morrowind?

✭✭✭✭✭Strange, that never happened to me. I've got one idea, though: If you have several user profiles on your computer, are you playing as admin or have full writing rights at least? Maybe the issue is that the savegame can't be created.@Syldras | PC | EU
