Endeavors etc - complete X num Dungeons

It would help a lot if instead of completing X num dungeons, it would be kill X num dungeon bosses.

This way it will reduce people running through the dungeon till the main boss.
And it will encourage ... I don't know... doing the dungeon?

To be honest: I don't care either way. After playing this game for 9 years I've seen all dungeons that I'm able to do in abundance, and the only thing I'm interested in is getting it done as fast as possible to check the endeavour off the list.

And I have the feeling I'm not the only one, since I often read that people would choose Fungal Grotto 1 for these tasks. And certainly not because they like goblin chief Knickknack so much that they want to see him for the 928th time, but because it's the dungeon that can be done fastest, especially when taking the shortcut.

It's sad that it's basically just a chore by now, I see that. But doing the same thing a hundred times just isn't fun. I'd actually rather see new, interesting tasks than being asked to do the same thing over and over again.

And just to make sure: My playstyle is actually focused on stories, lore and exploration. When there's a new place in this game, I'll explore every crevice of it, I listen to all npcs' dialogues and read all lore books. But it's not interesting anymore to do that when you're supposed to go there for the 50th time.

Then masses of players would leave in the middle of the dungeon once they got enough bosses done.

Does this suggestion mean I have to spend less time with in PUGs? If it does, yes.

My first time in dungeons again recently due to the pursuit, and holy smokes, did I very quickly remember how ruddy appalling and vile the random dungeon experience & community is in this game.

I have advocated since long for having an option in the group finder where you could select that you're searching for people who want to do a story run - slower, having time to read lorebooks and listen to the dialogues, etc. Since indeed when doing a dungeon for the first time, it's annoying if other people just run through it and you can't follow the story at all (which is a reason I would not do that with unknown people, only solo or with a friend).

At the time, you can write what are you looking for/expect in the description field/box of the GF listing.
(Eg: This is a story run, we will have the time to read the lorebooks and listen to the dialogues, etc)

It'd be easier for them just to enact story mode or follower dungeons like WoW does. Check that out - it would be so much more interesting if they just did this. Idk why they haven't.
