Only good thing might be that by using the "clear" setting we can eliminate unwanted indoor weather in self builds, need to test this fully though.

I tried it in the Snow Globe and it makes no difference at all to the snow flurries. My self-build gate house has still got a blizzard blowing through it

Also for some reason Hundings Palatial Hall has the option turned off, so it is always clear. In my case I wanted it clear anyway as mine is a beach house, but was confused why it seems to be the only house with an outdoor space that doesn't allow weather, unless the island of Stros M'Kai is meant to be always sunny in the base game.
One thing I am very happy about it the fact I can finally turn off the dreaded sandstorm in my Thieves Oasis, which would completely change the house if visiting while a sandstorm was blowing through my custom build by the lake.

That's cuz the snow in the snowglobe isn't actually weather. You''re inside a snowglobe. That's what snowglobes do.

Only if someone shakes it. With you inside.
