With more classes gaining access to Pets, it's time to allow Pets to proc sets.

It's quite a ridiculous and unnecessary restriction to not allow Pets to proc sets. A lot of people don't even realize this is the case, and will be in for a rude awakening when they notice that Ghost isn't proccing "on heal effects", or Blastbones or Bear won't proc Vicious Death or Plaguebreak or Acuity or any other "on damage" DPS set in PvE.

Especially for people that will be looking to leverage pet builds, this restriction severely hampers your options for build crafting. Want to run a pet based set up with something like Night Mother's Gaze? Well you're gonna need a DoT to proc the effect because you won't be able to with all of your other damage. Want to run Rally Cry with the Living Death tree? You're gonna need another AoE HoT to proc it reliably because despite Living Death having a strong crit heal rate, your main HoT can't proc the set.

Yeah, that would definitely be great. The fact that pets don't proc sets seems very unintuitive to me (and, admittedly, a bit annoying).

Back when I first did vet Vateshran Hollows on my Necromancer I was wondering why the character felt a bit squishy, even with the Ring of the Pale Order. Only after doing some searching I found out that neither Blastbones nor the Skeletal Archer procced the ring, or other sets for that matter.

It's a really outdated restriction that was only implemented because of broken proc sets in the past like Viper's Sting, etc. combined with the pets actually having decent damage on their own without needing Daedric Prey's increased damage. This made them actually usable in PvP (which combined with broken proc sets of the time made them very strong). Power creep has long since allowed DoTs to catch up to pets, especially when removing Prey from the equation, so the restriction really is just a lingering nerf from an outdated era that should be looked into for adjustments.
