Corpseburster motif visual effect removed not mentioned in patch notes

Normally there's a subtle blue strobe light effect around your character while wearing this set and I noticed while on pts that it's removed now, swapped zones, relogged, removed and equipped the set again and it's still missing permanently. I hope it's just a bug and not a design decision.

They might have turned it off temporarily because the strobe effect was nothing close to "subtle".
I hope for it to return, but as a consistent light source rather than that eye-strain it's currently on the live servers.

hopefully they did that until they figure out how to let us toggle Strobing effects, because they hurt

There's just no glow/light source now and it looks really off.

I personally liked it, had a few friends who also enjoyed the passive strobe effect. If it was changed to cause less eye strain then why does the new lightning gryphon pet have the same exact visual effect/strobe? I honestly wouldn't even be bothered by this change if there was at least a reason or patch notes about it

hey i don't know it was just hope.
the Kynareth gryphon mount and pet are also painful to look at
