Are the changes to the daedric summoning skill line set in stone right now or is it up to change?

I like having the ability to spec in a way that doesn't necessitate having pets active. There's other skills in the skill line like bound Aegis or hardened Ward or haunted curse?. I use these but I don't want to feel like I have to be pigeonholed into having a pet active to get the maximum utility from this skill line that I see fit. Mainly speaking with regenerative or hardened Ward, I don't think the heel should be disabled altogether (or maybe I should say should be missing completely out of a benefit) for not wanting to do a pet build.
Now I understand that the question of balance may come into play here, but in my humble opinion I would see it as a cause for balance tweaking rather than pigeonhoing the skill line to exclusively or overwhelmingly encourage the use of pets. I feel like an example would be a different resource regeneration or maybe a speed buff or something with one of the morphs of conjured Ward that maybe offer something different from a heel when a pet is inactive. If it's deemed that the heel coming with those morphs is overpowered on its own. Or maybe just a weaker heal than they would with a pet. The other thing though I wanted to point out is pet sorks have a substantial heal ability with the matriarch and that sort of benefit might be redundant, but what do I know? I'm willing to be told wrong about this. In fact I encourage it. This is just food for thought and a recommendation from what I see looking at everything and from what I've seen so far.

We're really hoping many of these changes are reverted, we don't want to see a U35-like player exodus.
    • Casual Roleplaying PVE player PC/NA
    • Tank ~CP2600 'Sugar-Flame'
    • I've completed all the dungeon trifectas. Swashbuckler Supreme, Godslayer, Gryphon Heart, Immortal Redeemer, Tick Tock Tormentor, Dawnbringer, and I'm looking for nice folks to complete more trial achieves with.

    Greetings,

After review, it would seem that this thread is in regards to changes that are currently on the PTS server. As this is the case, we have moved this thread to a more appropriate category.

Nothing in PTS patch notes is set in stone, we have 4 weeks of patch notes before we know for certain what will hit the main servers

Hey, just so I'm clear, I didn't see anybody really taking a stab at the suggestion I have.

For the conjured Ward morphs: instead of having no heel at all or when pets are active or inactive ( either way) . It sounds like it would be more fruitful for one to provide a supplementary utility when pets are active and a different utility when pets are inactive (instead of removing a utility all together. Dependent events are active or not)

An example: hardened Ward : the supplementary utility could be a boost of movement speed, or Minor mending when pets are active. But grants armor or stamina recovery When pets are inactive?
    Something of that nature
