Scrying menu gets stuck

On Xbox EU - I was queuing for a Battleground whilst scrying.
I just successfully finished the scrying mini-puzzle when the queue alert popped only giving me the option to accept the queue or cancel. I couldn't dismiss the scrying menu to complete it and be shown the excavation area so I just accepted the battleground.
The scrying overlay persisted throughout the battleground, and even afterwards when I was back in Arteum. The excavation area was shown on the map so the scrying was successful but I had to log out in order to get the overlay to disappear.
