New Class Set Ideas

Not to be taken seriously whatsoever, just been thinking of some neat designs for the remaining sets. I like the idea of class sets being kinda OP, playing into the strength of class mechanics and big buffs to passives. I think the power on a lot of existing sets is pretty lackluster and that class sets should be some of the strongest sets in the game. Anywho, just for fun, share your ideas or tell me how ridiculously OP these sound or how cringy the names are.

Arcanist - Soldier of Apocrypha

Runic Stalwart
(2 items) - Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(3 items) - Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(4 items) - Adds 1487 Armor
(5 Items) - Consuming crux with a Soldier of Apocrypha ability while under 50% Magicka or Stamina grants you Runic Stalwart for 12 seconds, granting you Major Evasion, reducing your damage taken from area attacks by 20%, and allowing you to generate up to four crux. Each Soldier of Apocrypha ability slotted increases this effect by 1 second. This effect can occur every 30 seconds.

Dragonknight - Draconic Power

Sleeping Dragon
(2 Items) Adds 1487 Armor.
(3 Items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 Items) Adds 1487 Armor
(5 Items) Activating a Draconic Power ability while below 50% health grants you Sleeping Dragon increasing your Iron Skin, Burning Heart, Elder Dragon, and Scaled Armor passive abilities by 100% for 10 seconds. This effect can occur every 30 seconds, and is reduced by 2 seconds for each slotted Draconic Power ability.

Warden - Winter’s Embrace

Raging Blizzard
(2 Items) - Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage.
(3 Items) - Adds 1487 Armor.
(4 Items) - Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(5 Items) - Adds 1206 Maximum Health. Dealing critical damage with a Winter’s Embrace ability afflicts your target with Major Brittle increasing their critical damage taken by 20% for 1 second.

Nightblade - Assassination

Contract Killer
(2 Items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 Items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(4 Items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 Items) Dealing Critical Damage increases your Pressure Points passive ability effects by 100% for 5 seconds. This effect can occur every 10 seconds.

Templar - Restoring Light

Paladin’s Purity
(2 Items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 Items) Adds 4% Healing done
(4 Items) Adds 4% Healing done
(5 Items) Healing yourself or an ally with a Restoring Light ability while under 75% Health grants you Paladin’s Purity for 10 seconds, cleansing one negative effect for every Restoring Light ability slotted every second. This effect can occur every 30 seconds.

Sorcerer - Dark Magic

Malevolent Magi
(2 Items) - Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 Items) - Adds 129 Weapon and Spell damage.
(4 Items) - Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 Items) - Dealing critical damage with a Dark Magic ability grants you Malevolence, increasing your damage and healing done with Dark Magic abilities by 10% and increases the effect of Blood Magic by 100% for 15 seconds. This effect can occur every 30 seconds.

Necromancer - Living Death

Lich Lord’s Legion
(2 Items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell damage.
(3 Items)Adds 129 Weapon and Spell damage.
(4 Items) Adds 4% Healing done.
(5 Items) Adds 4% Healing done. Healing yourself or an ally with a Living Death ability while below 75% health summons a zombie for 16 seconds that attacks your closest enemy dealing 2500 Disease damage every 2 seconds and healing you for 100% of the damage done. This effect can occur every 5 seconds. Zombies create a corpse on death.

    How about Mythic Class Items?

    Arcanist: More abilities gain either crux generation or gain extra effectiveness for each crux active. Crux consumption should remain only on Arcanist Abilities.
    Meditate would generate crux every 1-2 seconds while in combat.

    Necromancer: Hold a summoning ability to channel the cast to summon a permanent follower out of it. Hold again to desummon, or barswap with the ability not on the alternate bar. Basically allows Sorc perm pets out of them. Beware the massive bounty accumulation in public, Necromancy is a crime after all.

    Templar: Nearby allies share a portion of the effect of your Master Ritualist, allowing them to revive allies almost as fast as a Templar. Other Templars do not recieve this benefit unless it is better than their own Master Ritualist. You also grant allies in a radius around you the effects of Restoring Aura or Radiating Aura if you have it slotted on either bar.

    Dragonknight: Bracing improves the block mitigation and reduces the block cost for nearby allies. This effect is improves with a shield or ice staff. This effect is doubled/tripled when not moving, and also grants yourself additional effectiveness of Iron Skin. Mitigation surpassing the cap instead is converted into armor. (Yes, this is a passive Shield Wall. Multiple Players working together, bracing with each other, improves the defense and reduces the cost for their fellow bracers. Doesn't have near as much range as Ward though, being 3-7 meter range, melee range max radius.)

    Nightblade: Reduce the time it takes to enter sneak, and increase the duration of invisibility by 25%. This effect is doubled when travelling solo, or while ungrouped and with no allies within 60 meters. This effect is halved under Battle Spirit.

    Warden: Common animals become passive to you. Some can even be recruited temporarily through the use of Persuasion.
    Randomly, a bird will swoop down and attack an enemy you are in Combat with. Additionally, Animal Companion abilities have a 15% chance to cause it when they deal initial damage (not dot).

    Sorcerer: Take 15% less Lightning Damage. Taking lightning damage charges you up, and improves the damage of your next lightning damage attack by up to 100% based on charge taken.
    If you have a permanent pet active, lose the lightning effect, and pets gain 100% more HP and Damage.
    Or both can occur at the same time. Depends on Mythic Balance.

    Any of that seem a bit weak for a Mythic?
    Sorc would be the only one possibly eiring on the side of OP, if both effects take effect at the same time.
    Mythic Items after all.

    Or, just a new "Class Item" slot in general?
    Multiple Items, or just one, ...
    9 traits that... Hmm...
    Ah!
    3 items for each class with 9 traits each.
    Each Item refers to a class tree.
    the 9 traits could be either ability 1 2 3 4 5 passive 1 2 3 4 OR Ultimate then Ability 1 2 3 4 5 then 3 passive augments related to the tree.

    Mythic Class Items could evolve from there.

    Would Probably be a new Jewelry Slot, or a new Trinket table.
    Specifically Class Item, only one Class Item can be equipped at a time, and your original class must be of the class to use it.
    Though you can craft other class Items, you can't use them. Allows master crafters to make class items for classes that aren't their own.

    What do you think?

    As for enchantments... Dunno. Maybe they don't get enchantments. Otherwise that'd be a new set of Essence Stones for them. Well, actually that'd probably be fine. I wonder what they'd do though...

Frozen Cyclone deals (low) frost damage to enemies every 1 second and applying Major Brittle, increasing their critical damage taken by 20% for 1 second if over you have 30000 or more Max Health. If you have less, Frozen Cyclone deals (moderate) frost damage and has a higher chance to apply the Chilled status effect. Frost Cyclone can only be summoned once every 20 seconds.

    Ooo fair enough thats a much more interesting premise. Plays more into the im a walking blizzard identity. I’ve always thought wardens should get some sort of access to major brittle because it’s thematic.
