Help me understand Jester Rewards (halp!)

I returned to the game two weeks ago.

There are two vendors. The impressario whose rewards are pretty well understood. They appear to be mostly style pages and parts to achieve the quarterly/yearly reward to make a new rune extraction animation. Not interesting.

The other guy has a ton of different parts that appear to be for past years concoctions. None of those make sense to me.

I saw somewhere that there was a way to construct an "illusion dazzler", if you finish the appropriate quest and obtain the parts. But I don't know where/how to get these parts. Or if I am mistaken.

Please be kind, after 5 years away, all these parts are nonsense and I have no idea to what they are referring. Especially difficult because there are multiple tiers feeding other tiers to build something.

Is there a way to construct one of the illusion dazzler actions to be used as some other permanent actions? Without consdiering the tiered construction pieces which mostly make zero sense, there isn't much teh event offers. I will have the six style pages, the sword in head adornment, but how do I get the illusion dazzler?

A simple thing like the illusion dazzler could be useful to celbrate a boss kill. I have other things like this, an exploding rock, a puzzle, etc.

The parts for the illuzion dazzler are rare drops from the reward boxes. I have gotten one. IMO, I would not put too much faith into the idea of completing those achieves any time soon. The drop rate seems excessively low.

I say this as I have run the event on multiple characters and only seen one drop.

How many parts do you need to contruct a toy/emote/whatever that lets you do it on command?

I have actually 36/50 in the illusive dazzler quest. Unknown if that was achieved years ago or just during this event.

I cant even search TTC for these things as many of them appear to be bound.

Not sure, goto your journal, then holiday events, then jester's festival and you can see the achieves and what you need to complete them. The one you are talking about is like 50, but I have that one from years ago. There is a different one this go around.

Afaict, what I am talking about is a "memento".

There isn't a toy/memento for the illusion dazzler.

There is a noise maker toy, and some other ones that you collect parts from. Some new, some from past events.

AFAICT, the illusion dazzlers that drop with certain quests are consumable. Wish that were not so.

I guess I will just make sure to get all the new style pages and I already have the knife in head adornment. (Which is kinda dumb).

Is this what you're looking for? If so you get it from 5 mirth shards. The dazzlers are consumables. ETA: Using 50 of them is one of the achievements for the Royal Jester title that also allows you to buy the Jester Festival trees

Huh, I didn’t think to check the assistant to see what he’s got for sale. Thank you for reminding me!

Sometimes there are achievements listed that they do not supply the parts for any longer as well.

One thing to note, the Tool Tip will tell you if you either have that Collectible or Momento or need parts.

Also, there are several collectibles like certain pets that you need for multiple momentos. That secondary vendor will sell those parts.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You need to own a certain pet to have certain momentos? This has really gotten complicated from five years ago.

I think what Nestor means is they've added a type of reward to events. The Morphing Collectible.

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Morphing_Collectibles

So, you first get the pieces for the Stonewisp of Truth and Law pet, using event tickets and buying from the main Impressario.
Then, you can buy pieces for the Logical Rune Extraction customizable action. When you have them all, you morph your pet into the action.
Then, later in the year, there will be another reward you can morph a pet into.

Look at this page for a completed example: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Unstable_Morpholith

Unstable Morpholith: Pet. Became available at the beginning of the year.
Deadlands Scorcher Skin <-- morph pet into. Became available in the spring.
Deadlands Firewalker Personality <-- morph pet into. Became available in the summer.
Dagonic Quasigriff mount <-- morph pet into. Became available in the fall.
Doomchar Plateau (a fricking HOUSE!) <-- morph pet into. Became available in the winter.

The fragments for previous year's morphables are available from the Impressario's assistant. They rotate through, not everything is available at the same time.

Yeah. You end up buying the pet multiple times. If you do all the events, it's easy. If you skip some events, it's worth prioritizing the cool things, obviously. For the current year, they reveal what the next morphable will be as the year goes along.

Some of the morphing things are really worth it. The 2 houses (Doomchar Plateau and the Haven of the Five Companions) and the Sacred Hourglass of Alkosh are the ones I'm farming on my alt accounts. Many are meh skins, a few are really cool mounts, one is an armor style that everyone I know skipped.
