So question about PvP

When I am in the PvP zone, it runs fine. 60fps, no latency issues, running around with alliance members to storm a castle.
As soon as we engage in combat, huge lag spike. People freeze, then it comes back and I'm dead. This keeps happening. Frame rate stays at 60, mouse cursor is still responsive, everyone just stops moving as soon as I engage in combat, but as soon as I die, people start moving again.
Is this a glitch, or are the PvP servers just really slammed and unable to handle PvP right now?

elder42✭Now I am dead and when I hit "E" to respawn now, it brings up the map and I cannot click anything.
Guess I am going back to the boring PvE while they fix this.0
