Red Symbol after players name?

In-game I have been seeing red symbols after players names, seems to indicate a ranking of some sort. Can anyone link me to an explanation or tell me what it means, how to get it and any other information.

You have to participate in PvP and earn alliance points. That will grant you titles and ranks.
