Damage is highly avoidable simply by having movement speed. Players can move outside of an instant cast attack areas before they go off and without having to dodge. It exacerbates the already present desync issue and is exploiting it.
After returning from a long absence in late 2022, the first thing I noticed in PVP was every single player buzzing around like mosquitoes. I'm used to it now but I don't think most PVP players realize how much this negatively effects the overall gameplay.
