Hew's Bane Delve Drops Bugged

To my understanding, waist and feet for the zone specific sets drop from delve bosses. I have farmed both delve bosses in Hews Bane seeking a waist piece and out of 55 drops, I have ONLY received Syvarra's Scales Heavy Feet, in all standard traits and colors. This seems like a loot table bug since there should at minimum be a variation of zone sets, if not a variation of sets/weights.

Can someone confirm if this is intended functionality(although I highly doubt it)?

I think only one weight of sets drops from delves and world bosses, but all weights can be obtained from treasure chests.

Not what I said though... After 55 delve bosses, I ONLY received Syvarras Scales Sabatons from BOTH delves. Not Bahrahas, not waist of either set... ONLY Syvarras Scales Sabatons. You'd think I'd receive SOMETHING Bahraha from the Bahraha's Gloom Delve... nope, Syvarras Scales sabatons, same item as the other delve.

What you described @katanagirl1 is what I expect as well, but I expect other pieces not just heavy syvrarras scales feet from both delve bosses.

Just a FYI Infinite Archive dropped both of those sets for me this week.

That should persist through to next Tuesday.

Good to know! Although that doesn't address the bug, I do appreciate the information for an alternate drop source.

I don't know about the drops from the delves, but if you're trying to complete your sticker book for Hew's Bane then you ought to farm treasure chests.

I remember noticing a year or two ago that my sticker book was missing quite a few set pieces from Hew's Bane, so I started running around the zone farming treasure chests. The zone is small and has a lot of spawn locations for treasure chests, so you can loot a lot of chests in overland and it shouldn't take long to complete your sticker book for the zone's sets.

If you really want Bahraha's waist, they are pretty cheap in guild traders.
No way would I farm 55 delves for something that costs under 10k

Just a thought. What have you got uncollected in your sticker book for Syvarras and Bahrahas ?

IA only dropped Bahrara for me last night, no Syvarras unfortunately. I was curious if there was a bug in that as well but any of the pieces I needed previously I already obtained.... so no worries here!

I am not looking to complete my sticker book or look for ways to farm the set, I have it all collected. I'm not looking for an alternate solution to obtaining the pieces, although I appreciate all the suggestions. To the point of your comment though, there are SO many treasure chest spawn locations in the zone, so I completely agree that it is very easy to run around at night with the excavation passive and get a ton of chests that way. Good thinking!

I am simply here to report a bug in drops, not to have it fixed so I can continue my gameplay because I am unable to do something. I am a developer and I understand the value in others reporting problems that have been overlooked, so my goal here was not to figure out how to obtain X, Y, Z pieces but to report what appears to be a bug in the current design of the game.

I do, however, very much appreciate the community in coming up with alternate solutions for how to work through obtaining some of these items. Hopefully anyone who stumbles upon this thread will find the information beneficial and appreciate it as well.

I would be curious from @ZOS_Kevin if this is in fact a bug or there is some intentional design here. Thanks everyone!

Since there are only 6 possible different gear pieces that can drop from a dlc delve, it could be that you are just experiencing the terrible RNG that can happen while playing. If you have not done so already, you could try going there on a different character and seeing if you get better results. That often fixes problems like that.

I tried this on another character and got the same. I now have obtained 89 pieces of Syvarras Scales sabatons. Please note, I already have what I need, at this point I'm performing troubleshooting to isolate a bug in the game. I don't actually want or need the set, so I do appreciate the alternate suggestions on how to obtain other pieces.
