A crash that I have only ever experienced on an AMD gpu, now on NV gpu: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

After entering Vengence on same character as I would on live I received this error. I have a dumpster fire 5700xt on the PC next to me and when you don't undervolt and underclock it, it will give this error in any part of the game.
This pc is a laptop 4090 and I have never experienced this error here. I'll load up and see if I can go again. All I was doing was looking at skills near the DC base way shrine. I had no addons turned on.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

KnightofGears✭✭✭You might want to benchmark your graphics card and see if it does the same thing under load there.
I had the same error on my Radeon 6600 card earlier this year. It started suddenly and it got worse over time.
It could be just a driver issue, but in my case it turned out to be a breaking graphics card and I had to replace it.

✭I wouldn't put it past a dodgy brand like HP to have defective install off parts. Considering I had to change to ptm because they put a warped cooler with liquid metal on the 13700hx. 4090 laptop was just normal paste and the gpu mem was poorly thermal putty. But it's all fixed now for maybe half a year.
I've only ever seen this error on the 5700xt pc in ESO, no other game. First time I've seen it on the laptop in 1.5 years though.
