So has anyone tested Unleashed Ritualist?

With the changes, is there any reason to now run it on a sorcerer? When it came out, I was excited but testing showed it wasn't better than a standard stat set and best on necro. I'd love to see a useful pet set for sorcs

I don't have pts as a console pleeb, so I can't test it myself.

Just briefly talk about the results of my test
Relevant CMX screenshots will be provided when I get home (Asian time is working time now)

Sets: Unleashed Ritualist + Perfect Relequen (All U45 versions) + Mora's Whispers + Slimecraw, Perfect Crushing Wall (fire)
Unleashed Front Bar - Dagger

Skill：
Front column: Crystal Fragments, Daedric Prey, Bound Armaments, 2Pet, Flawless Dawnbreaker

Backbar: 2Pet, Unstable Wall of Elements, Hurricane, Barbed Trap, Summon Charged Atronach

I tested it 3 times on the 21M dummy, and the DPS were: 105K, 102K, 103K
Since Unleashed Ritualist only increases pet damage by 16%, the DPS is not ideal. If the pet damage is increased to 25 or 30, perhaps Unleashed Ritualist can become a good pet-sorc BIS.

I think Unleashed Ritualist strengthens sorc's AOE ability to some extent, because 5sets becomes a permanent effect, which increases all AOE damage of Volatile Familiar and Charged Atronach by 16%. But considering the proportion of DPS, I still think Unleashed Ritualist needs to provide 25-30% of pet damage, otherwise it will still be unattractive.

However, Unleashed Ritualist is undoubtedly more like Sorc's class set than Beacon of Oblivion!

my brother like this set so long ,so i go pts test this change
1.i am khajiit so i use power overload that dps close than Dark Elf
2.i thing this still need buff and i think Ritualist cant buff atronachs and maw of the Infernal dps(all parse them do same dps
3. rele nerf that my parse build lost 3-5k dps,that rele great again please

I haven’t done testing, but just doing some basic math, the set needs to be buffed by a lot to be competitive with other standard dps sets.

When I spontaneously read the rework and saw that zos changed it from a damage taken to a damage done modifier I expected it would be quite the downgrade.

scroll up on that thread and you can see the rant i went on about it.

the set is bad on sorc because of the damage bonus from daedric prey. sorcs, in particular, should avoid this set.

There is no class that deals >70% of its damage via pets, hence this set is crap for DPS with its current numbers. PvP Blastbones might get a good use out of this set but even then all special PvP sets are better than this...

Yeah, that's what I thought. Nothing changed despite the changes.

The only use this set has had in the past is on meme Blastbones ultimate builds. Myself and a few other necros had quite a bit of success in the past with it, but the removal of Stalking Blastbones made these builds much worse.

You could probably still somewhat reliably one shot squishy players using Ritualist and Blastbones ult, because Acuity+Ritualist is simply the highest you can push the blastbones ult's damage and Blastbones ult is technically the highest damage burst ult in the game if all 3 Blastbones land together.

That's a whole lot of words to say "meh, it can be a little funny on PvP neco"
