Could We Get A Mine Cart Pet?

With the minecart tracks, it would be nice if we had a minecart pet so we could set it to path and have a moving minecart moving around.

Just a thought.

    Wonderful idea, there are 2 things thought, using a non-pet as practice wagon, the next is getting a modded wagon or doing something to the tracks, having a non-pet wagon would be sweet, any ideas how to get wagon to push?

    I'm kinda working on an idea for a roller coaster, using the tracks and the dwarven sphere and the theodolites.

    Side note, I do wish we could link wagons and such to mounts and then have the pathed mount pull the wagon.

    I also wish that the snowball buddy pet at least did its snow animation when placed, especially since it's not pathable.

    I have never understood the linking process such as link in chat for an item, I did play earlier today, read somewhere that the minecart push and minecart empty were both in game today, the reading is correct about both being available, started out currently just with the push cart without any track materials, just a basic wagon currently, hoping to get further tommorrow, just a thought, going to attempt to mount one of the wagons close to the tracks to make a positive conection by the wagon having a solid green, do you know the difference between the yellow and green when plcing items in game?

    Yellow and green really only apply to thing that you can interact with (lights, doors, craft tables, target dummies...).

    If the highlight is green, the interact still works. If the highlight is yellow, the item can still be placed, but the interaction won't work.

    Since the cart/wagons don't have any interaction and cannot be pathed, it doesn't matter where they are placed.

    There is a red highlight, but that is usually only if something is to close to the spawn-in point of a house.

    The linking process is for placing many items and moving them all at once. Example, you place a table and then decorate it with stuff. If you link all the stuff on the table, to the table, you can move the table and everything on it moves with it as one. So you don't have to move every object separately.
