Llanshara exploration for Galen zone completion bugged

it's the quest where you join with Quen to explore a problem in the sea elf camp. At one point you're supposed to find and go through a portal but I'm right where it is shown in some youtube walkthrough videos, it is simply not there. I've retraced the steps, made sure I didn't miss finding some letter or other, but no portal. I tried reloadui, I tried logging out and back in. A lot of people I've asked ingame about it say they got stuck there too. It is literally the only thing between me and zome complete for Galen. Thanks!
