Question about Zones and EXP

I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the combat related sub, so sorry if this is the wrong place.

In order to get the styles and the mount, I decided to level a second character, but because I have already done all the quests on my main character and I want them to fade a bit more in my mind, I decided not to do quests in order to gain EXP, (I also am not sure I am going to keep the character I created, so don't want to do quests on a throwaway should I decide to delete him) I am basically running around discovering places and fighting mobs.

So, my question is is there any difference in the amount of EXP that different zones give?

IE, if I am a level 10 in Rivenspire will I get the same exp for the same type of enemy as I would as a level 10 in Wrothgar, or Blackwood?

AFAIK, experience is experience and it doesn't matter what zone you're in when you acquire it. There is a 100% XP buff running because of New Life, so you're getting twice as much experience for discovering a wayshrine now than you would otherwise, but discovering a wayshrine in Glenumbra and discovering a wayshrine in Craglorn should give you the same amount of XP, all else being equal.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Thanks, that is sort of what I thought, I just wanted to check, because I am entering the last 19 levels I need and it is becoming a bit of a slog. (though it is still fun running around without caring about needing to do quests or the like)

Chests also give a good amount of XP, so I have also been snagging any of those I can find. (also have an XP boost scroll going)

Doing all the public dungeons is a pretty good way to combine exploration with experience gains for your alt characters. Though you may have a tough time in some of the DLC ones on a new character.

I actually logged out at the beginning of the public dungeon in Alik'r. I feel like my character might not be insta-killed like I was the first time I naively wandered into one, so going to try that a bit.

    Thanks for the advice!

You'll want some cleave damage and shields/healing for taking on the enemy pulls at low level. Two handed weapons are generally very good for this as you have both the stampede AoE and the brawler damage shield readily available, but of course there are plenty of options that behave in similar ways.

That's pretty close to most people's experience. Getting to Level 25-30 goes pretty quick, but 30 or 35 to 50 is a real slog. Since I run Training-traited gear until toons get to 50, I'll usually make a final set of gear for them at purple quality to speed things along.

As far as Na-Totambu, and outside of a couple of the bosses, it's not too bad. The Gargoyles are a bit of a pain, but the rest is just being careful with your trash pulls. Keep a self-heal and some mitigation handy and you'll be fine. For the group event boss (the critter puzzle), it's a good place for Ultimate use but kill the spider first since it can heal off the corpses of the others.

This character is a warden with a bow, so I do have some healing, I might go to a dwemer ruins, I noticed that the dwemer constructs tend to give better exp than most other enemies. I also do have training gear, crafted by my main character, and plan to upgrade it at the next significant level.

Thanks for the advice, I will keep it in mind.
