Upcoming UI Changes

In Matt’s letter he specifically states that he wants to “spruce up the game’s PC UI.”

Does this mean that console players will not be getting any UI changes? I hope that’s not the case as many of us without access to addons have been wanting UI changes for quite a while

I hope that is not the case. Since consoles use the same UI as gamepad mode on PC, any changes there should be carried over to console.

I do think console needs more options that PC already has, though. I’m thinking of things like camera controls, performance options like turning off grass and perhaps reducing fog if that is possible. Whatever options PC has that we do not should be added, unless there is some technical reason why it cannot. I wish we could have add-ons like Map Pins and such, but my understanding is that is a console manufacturer decision so I can see why we do not have that.
