Nope, I saw it pop up in the lower right hand corner along with my other reward box loot (I thought it was something else at first because I just sorta glanced at it from the corner of my eye, thus the 'I assume' remark in the screenshot), and when I went into the bank to drop off some furniture I'd gotten from Lux Vendor Man, the Gift had the 'new item' ! next to it.Maybe you still had one of the Witches Festival writs active in your quests?
