stam dw/2h, mainly solo, occasional dungeons. been using macabre vintage since it was introduced and ive enjoyed it, though i still feel like im lacking.
been looking at other set effects which could work well together, not sure which i should go with. is two sources of burst damage better than one? should i pair slimecraw with kinras's wrath? max out my penetration? i saw that tarnished nightmare is very similar, but with crit chance and you dont need to kill your target before it procs.
reading reviews of the sets that catch my interest as well but most seem more concerned with pvp than anything else. mostly ive just been following alcasthq builds but substituting one or two things with something that either sounds cooler or doesnt require dungeon dlc

I like running Rush of Agony and The Master’s 2H

Leap in, pull ‘em, and get scaling upwards damage for each enemy hit with cleave. Brawler morph more or less makes you unkillable against a swarm too.

@Muma The thing about a request like yours is that objective recommendations are impossible. The content you play isn't demanding and we can only guess what it is that you find fun. That said, I agree with Avran. I find gap closing playstyles fun and Master 2H / Brawler effective at making you tanky for soloing harder content, especially if you build for stamina sustain. Unleashed Terror in place of Rush of Agony (or both) would also be good for Infinite Archive. You should go pretty far with the right visions and build along these lines, e.g. to anywhere between arcs 3 and 5 solo. However, these are both DLC dungeon sets.
PC EU: Magblade (PvP main), DK (PvE Tank), Sorc (PvP and PvE), Magden (PvE Healer), Magplar (PvP and PvE DD), Arcanist (PvE DD)
PC NA: Magblade (PvP and PvE every role)

A stam what? Nightblade? Sets can vary from class to class. I also don't understand the "no dungeon dlc" caveat as Kinras and Tarnished are out of DLC dungeons.

I'm with @fred4, the content you are doing doesn't really require a build. IA is its own thing that there are specific builds for. Ignore Alcast, I don't think he updates his stuff anymore. Check out ideas on YouTube or skinnycheeks.

With that said, Kinras is not a set you want to run solo stuff as it drops the stacks very quickly when out of combat. AS for damage sets, Vicious Ophidian from Hel Ra is a good sustain stamina set for solo play. Null Acra out of Lucent Citadel is good. Sul-Xan's out of Rockgrove is great for mobs. Any of those paired with Order's Wrath, a craftable and a very good set, would put out some solid damage.

I run my StamBlade like this. It is a Boss setup, because for mobs you just need to slot Whirling Blades and call it a day. It's not difficult. Bosses on the other hand are. Especially DLC Bosses.

Honestly, the big thing with SOLOing is not the damage, it's defense and sustain. I use Healthy Offering only, if I have no other choice. Normally I can run Killers Blade.
Merciless Resolve usually gives me a 12k to 15k heal, its just not availlable at will.
The minor main from the Shade is also superb to reduce damage and with all the other layers it is enough to survive 95% of all fights.

Most important is Siphoning Attacks. Sustain and healing in one package is such an enabler.
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.
