Should classes be segregated in BG queues?

Recently accidentally queued into a 4v4 (because for whatever reason it will occasionally forget your selection/it never remembers it and I forget to change it now and then under the assumption that QoL was actually thought of) and it was 4 NB's against 3 DK and an NB on Domination.

The inherent holding ground advantage the DK team had over the NB team meant holding points was far easier on the DK team than the NB team.

Come to think of it, a lot of classes who have more utility in terms of stealth or movement are actually already handicapped against other classes when it comes to BG setups: Can't use streak while holding a relic, can't use stealth, (Can you use targeted attacks like charges to act as a gapcloser while holding a relic?), things like streak won't help you hold down an objective, but restoring your max hp and resources when you ult certainly will.

Maybe it could be interesting to introduce a lobby where it segregates players to fight against the same classes as themselves?

    Standard answer whenever anyone posts about another class/build being better than theirs in some activity:

    "Play as you want" does not mean that your particular chosen class/build will be "best" at every activity in ESO (battlegrounds, infinite archive, veteran trials DPS, veteran trials tank, Cyrodiil 1vX PvP, whatever).

    I suggest using seven of your character slots to create one of each class. That way, when you believe that another class is better at doing some ESO activity, you can play as that class.

    I do not think that ZOS developers should rebalance the game whenever players post that another class that they are not playing needs nerfed because they think that another player is doing better than them.

    Classes should be segregated in BG PvP.

    They should not be separated as that would be a terrible gameplay experience. My brain hurts just imagining it... You're essentially suggesting ZOS implement the very thing that annoyed you into making this post.

    I do think the matchmaking should take class into account and try to evenly distribute classes in the two teams. I've played a game against a team composed almost entirely of sorcs (7/8 players were a sorc) and that match was brutal to play. I would spawn with a curse on me and couldn't leave the platform without being hit by a few stray crystal frags. This was on the small bridge map that has now thankfully been removed from 8v8 queue.
