When I try to enter https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/. I get this message : 'host: sqlwebbetadfw001.web.dfw:3306 name: zo_web Failed to connect to MySQL: (2002) php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution'.

    If you can see the normal announcements. you can log in.
    If not. Don't waste time trying to log in.

    Games are meant to be played.

    Back in Auriel's Bow 1.0, I have thought that the best way to handicap a faction with the HUGE pop advantage is to temporarily disable their grouping functionality and their ability to fight in 3rd person point of view! Let's see if these do not even up the odds.

    This isn't quite accurate. I can see the announcements just fine on PS / EU, but I can't log in.

    Okay. "PC only" wasn't specified, and the original screenshot could have been made on a console. And for the entire outage so far, the announcements have been visible on PS/EU, but not on PS/NA.
    Sorry, this is overly specific. But people make general statements all the time for things true on PC, but untrue for console, which is why I posted.

    Looks like this was a wibbly issue effecting individual users differently.

    Yep, I'm on PC EU and can see the announcements (including the new one about the ESO+ free trial), but I can't log in.

    I get the whole "can't retrieve announcements" thing and can still log in fairly often these days. ESO be tweaking out sometimes.
