Agree. I don’t know if I will use the mount, but like I said before, it’s gotten people out doing things like trials and that’s great. I ran AA 5-6 times and almost have a full stickerbook now. The last time I ran it was before they fixed the curation for the off sets in Craglorn trials.

Getting there was a lot of fun. It’s about the journey, not the destination.

The mount was definitely nice but didnt fit the theme nor do i see myself using it unless i decide to make an eldertide themed warden. It was well intentioned but you dont bake a cake without breaking a few eggs i suppose.

The bigger issue I find is a balance with some of the pursuits. For example, I wouldve included Imperial city as part of the 10 PVP kills for ease and perhaps eased off of the leveling up ones as the grind to do that on a baby tune is very monotonous.

As far as the other rewards, you can never go wrong with crown crates and I rather like the runegather animation we got since it fits the New Life theme.

What would be really nice though is for the jesters festival to have a mount thats just a poorly made horse costume with 2 people inside.

Bears are not really one of the most popular mounts, let alone bears with too many items on them, so I'm not really sure why they chose it as the reward, since thematically it doesn't even fit with the rest of the nord-themed stuff they've been giving out this month. ETA: Before anyone asks "why did you go out of your way to get it then"- I actually didn't. I regularly do all of the activities that were required to obtain it, and it just sort of happened naturally. It also happened to overlap with me leveling a new dunmer.

It's such an odd choice in mount, although of course I constantly state my dislike for odd mounts with weirder effects. Nord themed crates, nord themed customised action, statue of the nord hero...and a coral bear that is spilling a whole factory's blue glitter around it. A bear is quite suiting for a nord themed mount, but a much simpler one would've been better. Even a recolour of the basic ones would've been more suiting, but a nice option would've been a bear that got tack similar to the Sovngarde mounts but without glow. That would've been a nice option even if bears aren't my first choice, but it would be fitting and nice.
Just like you I'm not going out of my way to get it, I'm just going to because the activities fit into my regular play and I had several done in the first days. Also been leveling a new little bosmer, so that has added further to it, but they wouldn't even eat that thing, so I suppose its only use would be in housing.

The Sovngarde tack was exactly what I was thinking of- except, of course, without the overbearing glow. Whenever my Sovngarde horse glitches out and the glow disappears, it actually looks amazing. Unfortunate that all of the details on that particular tack set are hidden by the glow. What I wouldn't give for a few normal looking recolors of that set of mounts.

I think there's a non-glowing version of the wolf, which is what I thought we would get on the Golden Pursuits, because it was the last reward on the test server. It made so much more sense.

Yeah... you gotta finagle it a bit, I put mine inside a wall so the effect kinda spills out on the floor of my hall of the lunar champion portal and the name stays hidden

Wonderful idea, and as they have already implemented dual rider mounts, a pantomime horse should be easy to do.

so dont understand why anyone would put themselves through the time sink required to earn them if undesirable!

I agree on the aesthetics - they are hideous if you're a discerning adult, uncool if you're a child/teenager.

I quite like it this time. You were able to get some good stuff before the group/PvP tasks came into play. However, I wasn't interested in a bear mount anyway. So I got the first three things and basically ignored it after that. As long as you can continue doing that in future, I don't mind missing out on the 20/20 reward if I can still get 3 good ones with essentially solo player tasks.

If we all started a thread for everything that we do not like.....

I like the new fantasy bear mount. I am actually very happy that it is not a recycling of the usual skulls/skeletons/death/decomposing/putrid/mummies/zombies/vampires/war/battle/combat that I abhor.
